This is the standard summer bash at the Rodgers household (self sponsored this year, not a "company event"). Volleyball, swimming, chasing Madi (the dog) around, Catbert wants Wiffle Ball, good food & drink, and hopefully, with your attendance, good company. The only twist is... your admission ticket to this party requires that you provide an answer to the question: "What's the meaning of Life?" Doesn't need to be that question/answer... you can provide any pithy observation, truism, light-bulb thought you'd like to. You'll do this at the event, dont let loose any pearls of wisdom prior.
As you might expect, there will be some electronic (Internet-based) support for this event. Rather than scribble on our dresser, there will be web pages. Two reasons for this: 1) I'm a geek, 2) The invitee list includes many folks who are far away, and wont think that coming the West Newbury (from California) makes a lot of sense. We wont be hurt if you dont show in person, but you gotta check out the party website during the event, and leave your words of wisdom. The site will be at http://www.wookus.net/party2003 .
Bring your gang, just tell us how many folks are tagging along. Prepare for pool, volleyball and maybe some potato gun firings. If you've got a laptop with WIFI, bring it... range to the pool is good, and you might have something to add to the answer list, while poolside.
